He publishes his doctoral thesis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-wp-interactive=\"core\/file\" class=\"wp-block-file\"><object data-wp-bind--hidden=\"!state.hasPdfPreview\" hidden class=\"wp-block-file__embed\" data=\"https:\/\/www.bibletraditions.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-beaud.pdf\" type=\"application\/pdf\" style=\"width:100%;height:600px\" aria-label=\"Embed of Contenu embarqu\u00e9 2022-beaud..\"><\/object><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-6f6e4428-1c9a-4962-bd04-98ee96342856\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bibletraditions.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-beaud.pdf\">2022-beaud<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibletraditions.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-beaud.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-6f6e4428-1c9a-4962-bd04-98ee96342856\">T\u00e9l\u00e9charger<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kyle Smith, <em>A Brief History of Christianity<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The book of our former student, now Associate Professor and\u00a0Director, History of Religions Program, at the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Toronto,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucpress.edu\/book\/9780520345164\/cult-of-the-dead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cult of the Dead: A Brief History of Christianity<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0will be published November 8.\u00a0Bart Ehrman called it &#8220;a brilliant, entertaining, and accessible account of the history of martyrdom.&#8221;
