This summer, no fewer than 7 young researchers are benefiting from international mobility grants to work on the site of our Bible cathedral.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"traductiondelavulgate02\">Translation of the Vulgate 0.2<\/h2>\n<p>Ana\u00eblle Broseta, a graduate of the Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure and an agr\u00e9g\u00e9e de Lettres Classiques, Marie Gu\u00e9, an agr\u00e9g\u00e9e de Lettres and doctoral student, Constance Albert and Pauline Duchamp, Latin lecturers at the Institut de Philosophie Compar\u00e9e, Xavier Lafontaine, a graduate of the Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure and one of our very first assistants, Louis de Bretizel, a chartist, are re-reading, book by book, our translation of Saint Jerome&#8217;s translation, making it smoother and more readable, and beginning the harmonisation that will make it &#8216;fit&#8217; like a complete Bible.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"prsencedelabibledanslartcontemporain\">The Bible in contemporary art<\/h2>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px; font-size: 80%; text-align: center;\"><a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-bottom: 0.5em;\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/bestmediafiles\/2019%20Virginie%20Laurent.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" \/><\/a>Virginie Laurent<\/div>\n<p>Virginie Laurent, a doctoral student at the EHESS, has come to enrich our bible with precious images and commentaries on works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries, work that will continue from Paris in the coming months.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"unphilosophechezqohelet\">A philosopher in Qohelet<\/h2>\n<div style=\"padding: 20px; font-size: 80%; text-align: center;\"><a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; padding-bottom: 0.5em;\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/bestmediafiles\/%20Arthur%20Magnier.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"380\" height=\"290\" \/><\/a>Arthur Magnier<\/div>\n<p>Arthur Magnier, a graduate of the Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure in Lyon and a philosopher, has implemented in our database the numerous translations and notes on Qohelet that were previously sent in Word format by our colleague and friend Prof. Jean Jacques Lavoie of the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al (Canada).
