An Attentive Audience

The Bible in Its Traditions has been honoured by the visit of the Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC), led by Bishop Robert Christian OP (aux. bish. of San Francisco), on May 14th during its meeting which is taking place this week in Jerusalem.

After the director of the Ecole biblique, fr. Jean Jacques Pérennès, OP, gave a brief présentation of the current activities of the Ecole biblique, the members have shown a great interest for our research program which has been presented by fr. Olivier-Thomas Venard, OP, Executive Director of the program and fr. Łukasz Popko, OP, head of the Editorial Committee.

Three Australian friends, inspired by this visit, are now exploring the possibility of using our platform in their own pedagogic and research endeavors.
