Press, radio, newsletter: constant dialogue with the general public

30 November 2019

Several members or alumni of the École Biblique and the BEST (Dominique-Marie Cabaret, Anthony Giambrone, Renaud Silly, Olivier-Thomas Venard, Henri Vallançon, Gudrun Nassauer) and many friends (Anne-Catherine Baudoin, Marie-Françoise Baslez, and also Anne-Marie Pelletier, Guillaume de Tabouärn, Jean-Christian Petitfils) have contributed to a special issue of Le Figaro devoted to Jesus. The presentation of the book will take place on 3 December in Paris, Salle Gaveau.

On the occasion of this exceptional issue, our Executive Director, Fr. Olivier-Thomas Venard, was invited by Mr. Alain Finkielkraut, of the French Academy, to participate in his programme Répliques, on France Culture, together with Mr. Armand Abécassis.

Season 4 has begun for the 120,000 subscribers to the weekly PRIXM newsletter.

For their benefit and for the benefit of the widest possible public, BEST hopes to soon offer the first version of a complete illustrated Bible on the internet.

Nicolas and Valentine, from the Paris branch, are developing RITRIT, a new proposal in conjunction with several abbeys. A project which we will only mention as an invitation to a greater intimacy with the biblical text.
